From September 28 to October 21, Resonance Ensemble will present the world premiere of The Coffee Trees by Arthur Giron (Edith Stein, Moving Bodies), which explores the political and social upheaval following the Guatemalan civil war in the 199os, in repertory with the play that inspired it, Anton Chekhov's The Cherry Orchard, reimagined with an ethnically diverse cast and set in the American South in the 1940's, at Theatre Row's Beckett Theatre (410 West 42nd St).
